WHO are we?
I'm Nancy, a
Northern
Virginia gal,
and Tester
is my dog.
Since 2000, we've been spending a weekend every March,
with three friends and their dogs, at a dog-friendly cabin in
Berkeley Springs, WV. It's our annual "Dames & Dogs"
weekend.
That has inspired me to want a weekend getaway cabin of my
own to rent to the kind of vacationers that I most identify with --
those that naturally include their dogs with them when go
away. I want to vacation at a place that more than welcomes
dog lovers, but caters to them -- and their dogs. I'd have been
glad to let others do it, and I'd just go take my own vacations
there, but no one did it. So I did it myself!
It's just the kind of place I would want to get away to.
